- Nekoya has been remodeled somewhat from the last season. It now is fully illuminated, with the walls now a beige color. Later this season its shown a beer dispenser is behind the screen next to the piano.
- The Master worked in a Chinese restaurant while in his late teens.
- Kuro has gone back to solely using telepathy. Suggesting she may just be more comfortable with it than speaking.
- Sarah hasn't been coming to Nekoya for awhile; due to being focused on breaking a code.
- Hilda finds a door much like Sarah did; likely an intentional homage to Episode 2.
- The opening features floating pink hearts as the patrons enjoy their meals, showing their love for Nekoya.
- In the dub, Kuro sounds more nasally; presumably Monica Rial had a cold when recording.
